How To Find Us
Hollowstones is in Eskdale Green, a small village in the Western Lake District.From the South
- From the M6 motorway leave at junction 36 for Kendal/Lakes.
- Turn right towards Workington (A5092) three miles beyond Newby Bridge.
- Follow this road for about 10 miles.
- Beyond Broughton in Furness you need to turn right at the traffic lights towards Ulpha.
- After 4 miles turn left in Ulpha village to the steep hill signed Eskdale.
- Follow the fell road to Eskdale, past the King George IV pub (6 miles), through the village
- The turning (left) to Hollowstones is signposted
- Leave the M6 at Carlisle (junction 44) and follow the A595 (signed Barrow).
- Turn off at Gosforth and follow the road (6 miles) to Eskdale.
- The turning (right) to Hollowstones is signposted.
