All three cottages are very comfortably furnished to English Tourist Board 4 Keys standard. They have all recently been refurbished and have soft carpeting throughout giving an overall feeling of peacefulness and relaxation. Each cottage sleeps up to four people.

Each has an entrance hall with a seat and storage space for anoraks and boots etc.

Each kitchen is fully equipped with a microwave and dishwasher as well as an electric cooker and fridge. Cottage 1 has a separate dining room whereas the dining area is incorporated into the kitchen space in cottages 2 & 3.

Each sitting room has a three piece suite, TV and video equipment, stereo systems and CD players. Cottage 1 also has a real log fireplace in the sitting room.

There are two bedrooms in each cottage, a double bedroom (a huge king-sized bed in cottage 3) and a room with twin beds (in cottage 1 the second bedroom has a single bed which can be converted into bunk beds).

The bathroom in each cottage has heated towel rail and a shower over the bath. The bathroom fittings in Cottage 3 are traditionally styled with a period porcelain bath.

Each cottage boasts superb views over the Eskdale valley and beyond and has its own small garden/patio area. Guests are also welcome to use the large garden behind the cottages which is a suntrap in the summer. Garden furniture and gas barbeques are provided. There is also a separate play area for children of all ages (6 months upwards) with swings, slides and a little wooden cottage. This area has seating for the adults with views towards Scafell.
